Kenneth J. Weinstein, P.C.
Mr. Weinstein, the founding member and principal of Law Offices of Kenneth J. Weinstein, P.C., has been admitted to the New York Bar since 1972 and engaged in the practice of law for over fifty years. He is a former Assistant District Attorney of Nassau County and a former Law Secretary to a Nassau County Judge. He served as a member of the Judiciary Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association and was a former member and former Vice Chair of the Appellate Division Grievance Committee for the Second Department, Tenth Judicial District. A substantial portion of his practice is devoted to the handling of litigated matters, especially in the matrimonial field. Mr. Weinstein is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Nassau County Bar Association, former chairman of the Courts Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, former chairman of the Grievance Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, and former chairman of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association. Mr. Weinstein’s extensive experience in matrimonial and family law includes numerous trials in divorce, equitable distribution and custody matters as well as appellate work in related areas. Mr. Weinstein has tried many complex matrimonial cases to conclusion. He has also handled numerous appellate matters and argued before the Appellate Division of the First and Second Departments and the Court of Appeals (New York’s highest Court) on matrimonial matters. He presented lectures to the New York State Bar Association Family Law Section on matrimonial law on four different occasions. He lectured before the Matrimonial Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association and published articles in the Nassau Lawyer and co-authored an article in the New York Law Journal.
Katharine D’Alessandro, Esq.
Katharine D’Alessandro, Esq., an associate with the Firm for almost a decade, is an experienced attorney, whose practice is substantially devoted to the areas of matrimonial and family law. Ms. D’Alessandro graduated from Stony Brook University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Child and Family Studies. She was valedictorian of her graduating class within the Psychology department, a member of the Golden Key Honor Society, a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society, the Features Editor & Assistant News Editor of the Stony Brook University newspaper known as the “Statesman,” and the recipient of the 2012 John W. Perry Award. Her article on a litigant’s Confrontation Clause rights was published by the Touro Law Review in 2011. She was the Touro Law Review Issue Editor from 2011-2012 and an associate Editor from 2010-2011.
Since graduating 8th in her law school class from Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2012, she worked for two Family Court Judges before merging into private practice and appears in the Supreme and Family Courts of New York, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk County. Ms. D’Alessandro has over thirteen years of matrimonial and family law experience and has drafted numerous successful appeals to and orally argued before the Appellate Division, Second Department. She is an active member of the New York State Bar Association.
Jesse A. Baco, Esq.
Jesse A. Baco, Esq., an associate with the Firm for over six years, is an experienced attorney, whose practice is substantially devoted to matrimonial and family law. Mr. Baco received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg, Virginia and his law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. Mr. Baco is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and its Matrimonial Law Committee and the New York State Bar Association and its Family Law Committee. Mr. Baco has concentrated his professional efforts in the field of matrimonial and family law for the last sixteen years and has conducted hearings, participated in many trials, and handled numerous matters in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, as well as throughout the New York Metropolitan region. Mr. Baco has handled all aspects of complex matrimonial matters and is known for his dedication, diligence, and skillful advocacy on behalf of his clients. Before joining the Firm in 2019, Mr. Baco was an associate in other private firms substantially devoted to the areas of matrimonial and family law matters.
